After the massively disappointing result against West Ham, there won’t be many United fans making the walk down Sir Matt Busby Way full of optimism on Tuesday night. Unfortunately this is the current state of our football club. In my time supporting United I have never seen the club in such a state, with the lack of passion on the pitch by the players, the uncertainty off the pitch on the ownership/takeover front and the poor atmosphere inside the stadium I think the club needs a massively overhaul to stand any chance in getting us back to our former glory. As Ralf Rangnick once said ‘it’s not cosmetic, it’s open heart surgery’.
Aston Villa come to Old Trafford ready to give a tough test to Erik Ten Hag’s Red Devils. Villa were poor in there last game against Sheffield United but up to then they have been impressive all season sitting safely in the top 4 of the Premier League. Coming to Old Trafford will be a massive test they will be looking forward to so United will need to be in good form to get points from this game.
